specimen from the Lower Kimmeridgian stage of the Late Jurassic, found in the classic fossil-rich beds of Gersingen, Germany.

Streblites tenuilobatus is a noteworthy species within the Streblitidae family. Known for its compressed, involute shell and sinuous ribbing, it often exhibits subtle ornamentation and a narrow umbilicus. This genus is important in stratigraphic studies of the Kimmeridgian, where it serves as a useful biostratigraphic marker.
